By accessing or using CareTax, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the Service Is

CareTax helps household employers calculate pay runs, track taxes, store records, and prepare reference documents. CareTax is not a payroll processor, law firm, tax preparer, or government filing service.

No Legal or Tax Advice

Information and calculations provided by CareTax are for general informational and recordkeeping purposes only. You remain responsible for reviewing results, deciding what to pay, and determining what to file. When needed, consult a qualified tax or legal professional.

Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when creating and using an account.
• You are responsible for protecting your login credentials.
• You may not use the service to violate law, interfere with others, or attempt unauthorized access.

Billing and Access

• Free access is limited and may be restricted by saved pay-run count or paid features.
• Paid features are delivered through Stripe and may renew or expire according to the selected plan.
• One-time packs are scoped to the household and tax year described at purchase.

Data and Records

You are responsible for the accuracy of the payroll and employer information entered into the app. Historical records, exports, and reference documents depend on the data you provide.

Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Warranty Disclaimer

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareTax will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if the service is abused, or if continued access creates legal or security risk.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
