- Is the free tier usable for a whole year?
- The free tier is designed for evaluation and light use. You can save up to two finalized pay runs, use the calculator without limits, and read every state guide. When you need unlimited pay run history, exports, and year-end reference documents, upgrade to Core.
- What does the Year-End Pack include?
- One household, one tax year. It generates the year's W-2, W-3, and Schedule H reference documents plus a year-end summary. Good for people who did pay runs manually during the year and just need tidy documents at filing time.
- Are refunds available?
- Yes. If CareTax is not a fit within 14 days of purchase, email support for a full refund, no questions asked.
- Do you file taxes on my behalf?
- No. CareTax is a guide, calculator, and record system. It generates reference documents and filing checklists, but you file with the IRS and your state agencies directly. This is what keeps pricing low.
